Neutrals with a Flare

One of the challenges of a wardrobe is having clothes that will match with a lot of different things. We may fall in love with something in the store, purchase it, and realize later that you have nothing to wear it with.

My solution to this problem is to keep plenty of clothes, tops and bottoms, that are neutral with a little bit of flare. I always try to look for pieces that have something special about them, like a ruffle or a bow, but are still neutral enough to be able to wear with a variety of different things.

This is a perfect example of 2 pieces that work wonderfully together, but can still be worn with many different outfits. Pairing them together will give you a chic business casual look. Throw the blouse over some jeans, or pair the skirt with a brown tank and flats for a casual weekend outfit.
Another huge plus about these pieces: they can be worn all year-round. No need to store them away for your more "wintery looking clothes".

And remember, it's quality over quantity. Pay the extra bucks for a well-made item that you will easily be able to wear over and over again. It will last you longer, and you will feel and look better in it.
