My solution to this problem is to keep plenty of clothes, tops and bottoms, that are neutral with a little bit of flare. I always try to look for pieces that have something special about them, like a ruffle or a bow, but are still neutral enough to be able to wear with a variety of different things.
This is a perfect example of 2 pieces that work wonderfully together, but can still be worn with many different outfits. Pairing them together will give you a chic business casual look. Throw the blouse over some jeans, or pair the skirt with a brown tank and flats for a casual weekend outfit.
Another huge plus about these pieces: they can be worn all year-round. No need to store them away for your more "wintery looking clothes".
And remember, it's quality over quantity. Pay the extra bucks for a well-made item that you will easily be able to wear over and over again. It will last you longer, and you will feel and look better
