Textures and Patterns

Investing in some items that have some interesting textures or patterns to them could really do wonders for our wardrobes. I've found that these details really enhance an outfit, and can really show our personalities.

These are just a few of my favorites that I've been wearing lately.

What the Heck Have I Been Up To?

Hello, blogging world! I'm back from a long vacation filled with much rest, fun memories and of course, new clothes to work into my daily outfits!  I thought it'd be funner if I shared my life through photos, and catch you up on all I've been doing....

We relaxed at home. Here is our living room with a few of my 

paintings hanging overhead.

...and then we rested some more at our weekend home in Big Bear (just kidding, we don't 

really have a house in Big Bear). We rented a cottage with some dear friends, and spent most 

of the time watching the Olympics. Yes, I was that obsessed.

 

 .... and then we threw a Dr.Seuss Baby Shower for my coworker!

 

... and then I turned 24. Just like that.

 

.... and then I found out that Kyle knows how to do flower arrangements better than I ever could.

 ... and then I threw my hair back in a bun. OK, not that eventful, but having your hair out your face

 is a whole new experience on its own!

There's much more to what I've been doing ofcourse, but we'll leave that to the next post. Lots of new insights on fashion, new outfits, and many stories to share!
